Script

Mangoes! The time has come to publish our first game — your obby — to the Jamango! website and open it up for players around the world. You'll set up world details, choose tags, tweak settings, publish, and share.

Step 1: World details (press E)#

  • Title: The name players see on the site. Make it clear, catchy, and themed (e.g., "Climb to the Skies!").
  • Thumbnail: Upload a compelling image. A gameplay screenshot works great — try a wide shot while flying to capture your course.
  • Custom Loading Screen (optional): Add a title, a short tagline/description, and an image to make your game stand out.
  • Tags: Help players find your game. Examples: obby, sky, easy, hard, multiplayer, forest, lava, snow, magical.

Step 2: Settings#

  • Remix: Allow others to duplicate your world to learn from your models/scripts.
  • Max Players: Limit how many players can be in a lobby.
  • Character Collisions: Disable if you don't want players bumping each other during jumps.

Step 3: Publish and share#

  • Click Publish New World!
  • Copy the share link and send it to friends, or
  • Go to Discover on the Jamango site and search for your game by title.
  • Track plays and likes — if it gets popular, it might be featured on the home page.

Playtest and iterate#

  • Organize a group playtest. Ask for feedback and jot down ideas for updates.
  • Share progress and links in the Creator-Logs channel on our Discord server.

Congrats!#
